High in Tagaytay

With just an hour or two travel time from Manila, Tagaytay is one of the most accessible destination for those who seek a quick getaway outside the metro.

Tagaytay is located in the province of Cavite. You will have to pass by a couple of towns in Cavite via Aguinaldo Highway before reaching Tagaytay, namely Bacoor, Imus, Dasmariñas and Silang.

The place is famous for its Bulalo, that is why our first stop is at a restaurant that serves Bulalo of course. A bowl good for two persons costs about 300 to 400php.

The restaurant is just accross the Tagaytay Picnic Grove so after eating lunch we went ahead to stroll around this classic park. Entrance fee is 50php per person. We tried horseback riding that costs 350php per hour per horse.

Aside from horseback riding, there are some other activities that can be done inside the Picnic Grove. They have a Fish Spa, Zipline, Food Stalls and Souvenier shops. You can also enjoy the scenic view of Taal Volcano which can be seen from the picnic grove.

After staying for around two hours at Tagaytay Picnic Grove we went straight ahead to Tagaytay Sky Ranch. Entrance fee is around 80php every weekends and holidays. Cost per attraction ride varies.
