They say it’s white but it’s gold! Patar beach is located in Bolinao within the province of Pangasinan. It is one of the unspoiled beaches in the Philippines where you can find true serenity and relaxation. Travel time is approximately 5-6 hours from Manila.
It was mid October 2015 when we visited the place, and it was an awesome experience!
Upon arriving at the beach, we started taking pictures of everything that pleases our eyes. After all the photo shooting, we went back to Bolinao proper and bought food at the market. After eating our lunch we just bummed all day till sunset.
Before it went totally dark, we gathered woods scattered at the beach. Night time came and we lit our bonfire. We spent the night gazing at the stars, chatting and drinking until past 2 in the morning. After we felt satisfied, we slept soundly with the sound of waves in the background that seemed to be a perfect lullaby for the night.
We are lucky that day because we literally owned the beach to ourselves!
Let me share some of the pictures we took.
From Cubao bus terminal ride a Fivestar bus going to Bolinao, fare is 469.00php.(approximately 5-6 hrs bus ride)
From Bolinao bus terminal you can ride a tricycle going to Patar Beach. I would suggest contacting a tricycle service prior to your travel to avoid the hassle of haggling with tricycle drivers. I suggest kuya Ken, 0948-838-8512. You can opt to choose for a Bolinao trip or just go directly to Patar Beach. Travel time is 30 minutes.
Dont forget to buy everything you need in Bolinao market because goods are expensive in Patar.
Hope this blog helps. Enjoy your viajeros!
