Puh Toh Tze Temple / Exploring Kota Kinabalu

About 19% of Malaysia’s population are Buddhist second to Islam being the largest, that is why you will see a number of temples around Kota Kinabalu, but Puh Toh Tze Temple is the main and probably the biggest Buddhist Temple in the city.

This temple showcase a beautiful Chinese roofing and structure. You can immediately see the statue of Kwan Yin the Goddess of Mercy standing at the main entrance of the temple and also ten large statues of dieties that greets the worshipers and visitors alike.

The Temple is also considered one of the main places to visit in Kota Kinabalu. And also the good thing about this attraction? No Entrance Fee. You can also take unlimited photos as well as long as you are not bothering the worshipers.

This Buddhist temple is located in Tuaran Road, Kota Kinabalu. From the city centre it is just about 15 to 20 minutes away via taxi or Uber.
