Eight months prior to this trip, we have visited Pulau Manukan and made a promise to ourselves that we will definitely come back for more.
So right after breakfast on our 2nd day of stay in Kota Kinabalu, we went ahead to Jesselton Point and went straight to counter number 1 to purchase our tickets. This time going to an island called Pulau Sapi.
Both Pulau Manukan and Pulau Sapi together with the other islands namely Sulug, Mamutik and Gaya are all part of the beautiful Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park.
The Beach area is smaller compared to the first island that we’ve visited last year (2016) which is Pulau Manukan, but this island has a more picturesque view since you can also see from a distance the largest island in the marine park which is Pulau Gaya.
The island has facilities like rest rooms, shower rooms, food stalls, tables and what we liked most is that you can also rent a locker where you can put your valuables for just RM 10.00 per day although there is a refundable deposit so be sure to bring extra money.
You can also rent snorkeling gears and beach mats which we did since all the picnic tables were packed at that time.
Adult (18 and above) RM 3.00
Senior Citizen RM 1.00
Below 18 years old RM 1.00
Adult RM 10.00
Child RM 6.00
We will definitely come back and probably hit another island. Mamutik, Sulug, or Gaya?
Thanks for viewing!
