When you hear the word Taipei or Taiwan, the first thing that comes to peoples mind are either the once tallest building in the world TAIPEI 101 or the famous early 2000’s Taiwanese boy band F4. But there are tons of things that Taipei has to offer. Here are some of the things you can do without ever leaving Taipei City.
VISIT BITAN SCENIC AREA
Ride the Green Songshan-Xindian Line and get off at Xindian station. From the exit you will see the BITAN sign across the street.
VISIT CHIANG KAI SHEK MEMORIAL
Ride the Green Songshan-Xindian Line or Red Tamsui-Xinyi and get off at C.K.S. Memorial Hall station.
VISIT TAIPEI 101
Ride the Red Tamsui-Xinyi and get off at Taipei 101/World Trade Center station.
EAT OUT AT TAIPEI NIGHT MARKETS
Taipei is famous for their night markets and Shilin Night Market is their biggest. Ride the Red Tamsui-Xinyi and get off at Jiantan station and NOT Shilin station.
ROAM AROUND XIMENDING AREA
Ride the Red Tamsui-Xinyi or Blue Banan Line and get off at Ximen station.
VISIT BEITOU HOT SPRINGS
Ride the Red Tamsui-Xinyi and get off at Beitou station then transfer to Pink Xinbeitou Line.
VISIT DIN TAI FUNG ORIGINAL BRANCH
Ride the Red Tamsui-Xinyi or Orange Zhonghe-Xinlu Line and get off at Dongmen station.
These are just some of the things you can do in Taipei and there about a ton of things that we have not seen nor visited yet. The winter made our itinerary a bit off course since the very cold weather is a bit hard to handle. We will definitely come back for more soon, maybe during spring.
