Tanay Adventure | 5 Destinations

If you are looking for an adventure near the hustle and bustle of Manila, Tanay in Rizal Province would be one of the best option for you. Just 2 hours away from the capital, going there is such a breeze (minus the traffic of course).

In just 24 hours we were able to enjoy 5 destinations! Let us share some with you.

1. Pililla Windmills

Technically located and part of Pililla Rizal but just about 30 minutes from Tanay proper.

No entrance fee and there are small stores to buy your souvenirs.

3. Sierra Madre Mountain Resort

Basically a Hotel and Conference Center situated in Sierra Madre. You can visit the place even if you are not checking in at the hotel with a 50 pesos entrance fee for an hour stay.

The resort features a scenic view of the Sierra Madre mountain range, a greek inspired garden, a foot bridge, and a rope bridge.

4. El Patio Razon (Kawa Bath)

After a long day of adventure, this will be the best place to take a couple of hours rest and enjoy the scenic view while soaking in a large cauldron (kawa) that has a burning charcoal beneath it to keep the water warm.

Entrance fee is at 50 pesos each and 300 pesos for every cauldron (kawa) that can be shared.

These are only some of the few destinations that you can visit in Tanay Rizal but there are still tons more.

We also revisited Daranak and Batlag falls just a couple of days prior to this trip. You can also check out our blog 2 years ago for Batlag falls here.

HOW TO GET TO TANAY:

From EDSA Shaw (Crossing) just ride a UV Express or Jeepney going to Tanay and get off at Tanay Market.

Take note that even before you get off from the jeepney in Tanay, there will be a lot and I mean A LOT of tricycle drivers that will offer you a tour package.

I suggest you contact Kuya Mike our tricycle service at 0912-437-7870 and he can give you the best tour offer around Tanay.

Thank you for taking time to check our blog! See you on our next adventure!
